Jensen Ackles is celebrating a major personal milestone with his wife, Danneel — and fans are getting a glimpse into their family life as the couple marks their 16th wedding anniversary.
The The Boys and Supernatural star shares three children with Danneel, and together they’ve built a close-knit family of five. The couple first met while working on the 2007 romantic comedy Ten Inch Hero, where their friendship eventually turned into a relationship.
They married on May 15, 2010, and later welcomed their daughter Justice Joy “JJ” in 2013, followed by twins Zeppelin and Arrow in 2016.
Over the years, Ackles has often spoken about how important his family life is to him — especially as his career has continued to grow in Hollywood. After relocating from Texas to Connecticut in 2023 to be closer to The Boys production in Toronto, he shared in 2025 that home life remains a grounding force.
“When I go home, I’m home. I’m not Jensen the actor. I’m Jensen the husband, the dad, the friend, the brother, the son,” he said. “I think having that stability in my personal life has really given me a good grounding, a good foundation for what I do.”
